Nyssa High School is the only high school in the District 26, Nyssa School District. The district serves the rural town of Nyssa, Oregon and the surrounding area. The school enrolls approximately 330 students and has passed NCLB AYP standards since the law's inception. The ethnic makeup is largely hispanic, with a very small number of other minorities (Asian, African-American, etc.) represented. The school boasts a multi-year state championship wrestling program as well as recent championships in girls' basketball and football.
