Vivien March is a fictional character in the soap opera "Doctors", portrayed by actress Anita Carey from 2007 to the present.

Character

Vivien is like the battleaxe character of the show. Vivien used to be a matron years ago until her mother her got ill she then looked after her ill mother until she died. Vivien uses a tough exterior on the outside, but inside she is quite sensitive and caring.

torylines

Recently Vivien decided she wanted to start driving again as she was feed up with the buses. She rallied Jimmi into helping her choose a car at an auction. She brought a car. Vivien got several people from the surgery to teach how her to drive, but they all got fed up with her, so she got Jimmi to teach her. She has recently passed her theory test.

On Monday 16 June 2008, Vivien' house was broken into by two young men, one of whom, Ryan, played by Richard Clarke, attacked her sexually. On Monday 7 July, Vivien revealed to Jimmi that she was raped and told him not to tell anyone as she was ashamed. She's is also not sleeping very well. Jimmi offered a place at his place but turned him down. Jimmi told Vivien that he could tell Eva about what happened, but she was adamant she didn't want the police involved.
