Caroline Botelho

Caroline Botelho (born November 22, 1989 in Boston, Massachusetts) is best known as a longtime co-host in PBS Kids television series, ZOOM.

Biography

Career

She is best known for her role on the PBSKids Tv Series, ZOOM. While only ten during her first season in 1999, she continued on to the show until Season 5 in 2003 when she was 14. She has the record for being involved in the most seasons. She and her co-star from the first two seasons, Kenny Yates, also appeared on an episode of Arthur in, "And Now a Word from Us Kids".

Personal life

Botelho has two siblings. She has an older sister Nina Botelho and a younger brother Jake Botelho [ [http://www.freewebs.com/carolineandkenny/newkennypics.htm Caroline and Kenny: The two "Perfect" ZOOMers ] ] . Caroline Botelho graduated from Notre Dame Academy in the Spring of 2008 and will be entering the nursing program at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst as of fall 2008.

Personality

Botelho, when starring on the show once spoke about herself saying,

I think I'm funny, silly and crazy. Other ZOOMers would probably agree, and say that I'm also a good friend. My family is really great! Besides my mom and dad, I have a brother and sister. They've given me the nickname "Carolinamoon" because my Dad and Grandpa used to sing me a song about "Carolina Moon Keep Shining.
