7835 Myroncope is a main belt asteroid with an orbital period of 1490.9544415 days (4.08 years).
The asteroid was discovered on June 16, 1993, and was named for famed sports announcer and journalist Myron Cope after his death in 2008. Myron Cope was a color commentator for the Pittsburgh Steelers NFL team for 35 years and was the creator of the Terrible Towel in 1975.[1][2][3]
