Fromes Hill is a small
hamlet in the county ofHerefordshire . The population is around 350, with most of the residences along the main A road or to the sides of it. Fromes Hill is known as a Linear Settlement. The hamlet has apub , The Wheatsheaf, which is now out of use. There is also the Fromes Hill Cafe, which is more of a truck stop than a cafe.Fromes Hill lies about 15 miles east of Hereford, 7 miles north of Ledbury and 18 miles west of Worcester. Local agriculture includesapples (cider ),wheat ,grains andhops . The Bosbury Cider Festival draws upon Fromes Hill to provide the excellent cider produced and sold at the festival. Most of the cider and wine is produced at the Frome Valley Vineyard.Fromes Hill'spostcode is HR8.
