"Born to Rock and Roll" is a compilation album by ex-The Byrds frontman Roger McGuinn, released on Columbia Records in 1991 following the success of his comeback solo album "Back from Rio" the year before. "Born to Rock and Roll" contains selected songs from all five of McGuinn's solo albums of the 1970's, from after the final breakup of The Byrds in 1973 through 1977. It was the first time that material from these albums was released on the Compact Disc format.
