Roza Pomerantz-Meltzer

Roza Pomerantz-Meltzer, (also Rosa Pomerantz-Meltzer) (d. 1934) [died at age 55, Oct. 20, 1934, American Jewish Yearbook, By American Jewish Committee, Jewish Publication Society ofAmerica, 1935, p. 270 ] of Lvov, was the first woman elected to the Sejm, the Parliament of Poland. She was elected in 1919 as a member of a Zionist party.
