Thadeus House

C. Rathinasamy Nadar was a pioneer in the business of manufacturing safety matches in Kalugumalai, a small town in the southern part of Tamilnadu, India. He also contributed generously to the Lady of Lourdes church and to other social causes.

His son R. Susai was the first citizen of Kalugumalai to embrace the priesthood to serve Jesus Christ. He was followed suit by his elder brother R. George who became a Jesuit.
