Victor Haghani was one of the founding partners of

Haghani is an Iranian American whose father was an international trader from a Sephardic Jewish family in Iran. Haghani was trained in finance from the

Victor Haghani graduated from the LSE in 1984. He worked for Salomon Brothers in New York, first in fixed income research and then in proprietary trading. He was a founding partner of LTCM and moved to London in 1993 to open their London office. Post 1998, Victor stayed on for the liquidation of LTCM and then became a founding partner of JWM Partners which manages a successor fund to LTCM. Victor has been on Sabbatical for the past two years.
