Ye Peijian

Ye Peijian

Ye Peijian (Traditional Chinese: 葉培建, Simplified Chinese: 叶培建; January, 1945 - ), is a prominent Chinese expert on information technology and aerospace engineering. Career

Ye was born in Huzhuang Village, Taixing, Jiangsu Province in January 1945. 1962, he graduated from the Huzhou Middle School in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province. 1967, he graduated from Zhejiang University, majored in radio technology. 1980, he went to study in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, and obtained PhD in 1985. Ye is a professor both at the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and the Harbin Institute of Technology. He's a research fellow and the Chief Engineer at the Chinese Academy of Space Technology (CAST).
