- Pipers Hole River Provincial Park
Pipers Hole River Provincial Park is situated in Swift Current,
Newfoundland and Labrador . It became privatized in 1997 after a provincial park "lock-down" of over 20 campgrounds. It has became very popular after the stories of a young French soldier dying of battle wounds. Some locals say that you can still hear the mournful pipe of the dead soldier.
