- Fangshan Line, Beijing Subway
The Fangshan Line of the Beijing Subway is a planned light rail that will connect the outlying Fangshan District with the subway network. The line will begin in Fangshan District at the intersection of Changhong Road West and Suzhuang Avenue, and will run northeast to the Beijing World Park and Guogongzhong, the southern terminus of Line 9, currently being built. The Fangshan Line will be 24.7 km in length with 11 stations (9 surface; 2 underground). The beginning of construction has been moved up from 2012 to some time in 2008.
