The GWR 2201 Class was a class of standard gauge 2-4-0 steam locomotive designed by William Dean for express passenger service on the Great Western Railway [MacDermot E.T. "History of the Great Western Railway, volume 2, 1863-1921", Ian Allan 1964 (reprinted 1982), page 289, ISBN 0 7110 0412 9] . They were numbered 2201-2220.

Members of the class were in use on the Didcot, Newbury and Southampton Railway around 1910 [ [http://www.gwr.org.uk/nodns2.html The Didcot, Newbury and Southampton Railway (2) ] ] .
