Lisa Hunt is best known for her artistic contributions to the tarot community.

Biography

Lisa Hunt (born Lisa Sabina Behnke on January 13, 1967 in Spokane, Washington) is an American watercolor artist and writer. Lisa has worked on many tarot decks including Shapeshifter Tarot, Celtic Dragon Tarot, Chesley Award nominated Fantastical Creatures Tarot [ [http://www.usgamesinc.com/product.php?productid=1018 Fantastical Creatures Tarot at U.S. Games, Inc.] ] and the COVR award winning [ [http://www.covr.net/2006awards/06sideline_interacti.htm 2006 COVR award winners] ] solo project Animals Divine Tarot. She is also the writer/illustrator of the hardcover art/meditation book Celestial Goddesses [ [http://www.ecauldron.com/bkcgaimg.php Celestial Goddesses review] ] , showcasing her interest in goddess mythology. Lisa earned a master’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis on Jungian psychology/art & drawing from the Union Institute in 2004.

In addition, she worked as a Collectible card game (CCG) artist and conceptual designer. Lisa now devotes her time raising her family and working in her studio in South Florida. Lisa is married to art director/designer/photographer Kort Kramer and has two children.

Lisa is also a student of Submission Taekwondo and will receive her Black Belt in December 2008.
