Richard Blakeley is an American video editor and producer based in New York City.
Education and Career
Blakeley graduated from the
Pratt Institute with a BFA in Film. Since 2006, he has been a video editor forGawker Media , working most frequently for the Gawker-owned website,Gizmodo . Blakeley also runs his own design company, American Autotroph, in addition to being the creative director for the website Boinkology.Controversy and Notoriety
Blakeley is perhaps best known for an incident that occurred at the 2008
Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
