Georges Palante (
November 20 1862 -August 5 1925 ) is a French philosopher and sociologist.He advocated aristocratic individualist ideas, close to

acromegaly and weary of his philosophy teacher job, he shot himself.Most of his readers are anarchists, though he never claim being anarchist. His work was translated in Italian.
Posterity
Louis Guilloux wrote "Souvenirs sur Georges Palante" ("Memories on Georges Palante") and took his inspiration from Palante to model his character Cripure (short for "Critique de la raison pure", in English: "Critique of pure reason") in his novel "Le Sang Noir" ("Dark Blood").Michel Onfray 's thesis and first published book, "Physiologie de Georges Palante" ("Georges Palante's Physiology"), is about this philosopher, and contributes to enlighten him. The 2002 and 2005 reissues of this work were subtitled "portrait d’un nietzschéen de gauche" ("Portrait of a left-wing nietzschean").Trivia
