The Anybodies (band)

The Anybodies are a Pop/Rock band from Cork in Ireland.

Biography

The group are Richard Sheehy (Frontman),Shane Burke (Guitarist),Eoin Deasy (Bassist) and Paul "Tiz" McNamara(Drums). They were formed in 2006 when three of the members (Shane, Eoin, Paul) discared their previous alias as a 3 piece "Loose Change" ,introduced new lead singer Rich into the band,and decided to change to a new name "The Anybodies".

Since then, The Anybodies have become a household name in Cork with regular concerts in the area and radio play on Redfm and have also gained exposure on a national level with their inclusion as the only unsigned band to headline RTÉ 2fm's "School of Rock" Tour, as well as their support slot on 2fm's "2moro 2our".

The band has played with the likes of The Blizzards, The Revs, Delorentos, The Parlotones, The Flaws, Dave Geraghty from Bellx1, Concerto For Constantine and Hamsandwich.

It has recently been announced, to few peoples' surprise that Shane Burke (Guitarist) is a homosexual.

ingle Release and Tour

On the 15th August 2008 The Anybodies released their first single "Valentine" onto the official Irish charts. Valentine currently lies at number 20 in the charts and the Anybodies will be doing a 2 week Irish tour to promote it.
