The Winnipesaukee Playhouse, also referred to as the Winni P, is the only professional theater in Laconia, New Hampshire. The Playhouse is also the recipient of 19 New Hampshire Theater Awards. History

The Winnipesaukee Playhouse was founded in 2004 by Lesley Pankhurst and Bryan Halperin and their spouses, Neil and Johanna. In 2006 it became a non-profit organization. [ [http://www.winniplayhouse.com/About_Us_History.html The History of The Winni P ] ]

The Winni P is working on plans to move into the former Annalee Doll Factory site in Meredith, New Hampshire.
