First Freedom Center

First Freedom Center

First Freedom Center is an education center located in Richmond, Virginia's state capital.

The center will contain interactive exhibits exploring the development of religious freedom in America, starting with Thomas Jefferson's Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom and finishing on today's international religious issues.

Educational outreach programs developed with educators will deliver content and resources developed for the Center to off-site audiences around the country and around the world.

According to the First Freedom Center website, the center will promote "Educational outreach programs" which "will deliver content and resources developed for the Center to off-site audiences around the country and around the world."

The First Freedom Center honors National Religious Freedom Day every January 16 by having a First Freedom Awards banquet.
