Judy Cheeks is a female
dance music singer born in Miami,Florida and is the daughter ofgospel singer and preacher Rev. Julius Cheeks. In 1978 she hit #10 on theHot Dance Music/Club Play chart with "Mellow Lovin'," and then had a career resurgence in the 1990s, when she re-emerged with a string of dance chart hits, including two #1s in 1995: "Respect" and "As Long As You're Good To Me" as well as "Reach", which appeared on the "Summer Hitmix '94" CD released byZYX Records . Her 1978album "Mellow Lovin' " was produced byAnthony Monn (ofgay icon ,Amanda Lear , fame) inGiorgio Moroder 'sMusicland Studios inMunich .Cheeks also appears as a
backing vocalist on Lear's 1979 album "Never Trust A Pretty Face " and onBoney M. 's "Ten Thousand Lightyears " and "Kalimba de Luna - 16 Happy Songs " as a member of vocal trio La Mama.Discography
