The Roman Catholic Diocese of Chengdu/Chengtu {Latin: " Cemtuan(us)", 中文: 成都} is a diocese located in the city of Chengdu in the Ecclesiastical province of Chongqing in China.

History

* October 15, 1696: Established as Apostolic Vicariate of Szechwan 四川 from the Apostolic Vicariate of Fujian 福建
* April 2, 1856: Renamed as Apostolic Vicariate of Northwestern Szechwan 四川西北
* December 3, 1924: Renamed as Apostolic Vicariate of Chengdu 成都
* April 11, 1946: Promoted as Diocese of Chengdu 成都
