Epidermis (software)

Epidermis (software)

Epidermis is an open-source GTK application for changing the appearance of Linux desktops. The application allows the downloading and installation of themes (known as pigments) that can alter the colours, wallpapers, icons, mouse cursors and several other aspects of the desktop appearance.

The name "Epidermis" was chosen after consultation with the Ubuntu community [ [http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=818588 Ubuntu Forums thread entitled "Need names for new theme manager app"] ] on the "Ubuntu Forums" message board.

Epidermis is currently under development.
