The Landing Beaches; Aslito/Isley Field & Marpi Point, Saipan Island are several historic locations on Saipan island which are collectively, a National Historic Landmark. These were the locations of pivotal sites during the Battle of Saipan when the United States Marines attacked the Japanese positions on June 15, 1944.
