"Meu Coração Bate Por Ti" "(My Heart Beats For You)" is the thirty-first studio album by Portuguese American singer/songwriter Jorge Ferreira, released in 2006 on Portuguese Music World in America, Espacial in Portugal and Ruiz Sr. Import C.A. in Venezuela.

This album, marketed by Portuguese Music World as label, was produced with Nelson Moreira and recorded in Fall River. Portuguese-American singer Nelson Moreira, most known as "Nelson" was arranger and musician in 1999 for the album "Açoriano De Raiz" and today is one of the most highly acclaimed Portuguese music producers in the U.S. [ [http://www.novartmusic.com/NELIA%20CD%20PURCHASE%20MEU%20MUNDO.htm Novart's products webpage] at Novartmusic.com.] His wife Nélia is also singer and performed on backing vocals. With this project, Ferreira wanted to wake up the Portuguese roots and remember the old good times. He expressed his saudade in several songs and Portugal was put in honour, much more than on other albums. This album was a sample of what is able to realize the Portuguese people's capacity and perseverance in unknown lands.
