Kollel (disambiguation)

Kollel is a Hebrew word referring to something general which is including two or more details.

* In Gimatria, it is used to add one number to match the calculation, with the objection that the wording in whole may also be counted.
* In Yishuv haYashan it was the umbrella organization that cared for all the needs of its members, and was subdevided by country origin.
* In modern sence it is a Yeshiva-like Beth midrash for Torah and religious studies. The name was definitally derived from the former, since such an institute was the most prominent part of the Yishuv haYashan Kollel.
