Srinivasan Kalyanaraman

Srinivasan Kalyanaraman is an Indian writer. He holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration from the University of the Philippines and worked for the Asian Development Bank before he retired in 1995, resolving "to devote the rest of my life to Indology studies", based at the C. According to his entry in The International Directory of South Asia Scholars (IDSAS) of Columbia University, his early education at Annamalai University included Hindi, Telugu and Tamil as well as Sanskrit as second a language.

He has written on the Indo-Aryan migration debate, on Indian alchemy, on Soma, on Indian languages and on Indian civilization, notably popularizing the term "Sarasvati Civilization" for the Bronze Age Indus Valley Civilization.

He is an active Hindu nationalist and operates the "Hindu Civilization" [http://groups.yahoo.com/group/hinducivilization/ mailing list] and [http://hinducivilization.blogspot.com/ blog] .
