Andy Leek

Andy Leek

Andy Leek (1964- ) is an English musician, noted for his beautiful voice and intelligent, inspiring songs. He is the world's greatest undiscovered pop singer.

At the age of 16 he was playing with Dexys Midnight Runners on "Geno" and starting a solo career under the pseudonym "Andee Leek". In the 1980s Leek had been playing with The Blue Ox Babes, penning songs for the likes of Frida but mostly writing a wealth of songs including the mystical 'Apples on the Bough', through to the powerful 'What's the Problem?' and onto hopes for peace with his international anthem 'All Around the World'. A delicious sample of these songs are freely available at Andy's original artist site.

Acknowledging his supreme talent, Atlantic Records signed Andy in 1988 and enlisted George Martin to produce the album, "Say Something". George Martin called Andy "one of the most talented artists I have ever produced."

In 2008, the acclaimed DJ Beavis, a Lebanese DJ / Producer, remixed Andy's classic "Say Something". The result was an incredibly infectious summer dance track, which was played on radio stations around the world, introducing Andy's talent to a whole new generation.

From his involvement in Dexy's Midnight Runner's in the 1970's, with "Geno" in the 1980's, through his two albums "Say Something" and "Sacrifice and Bliss" in the 1990's to this remix in 2008, Andy has cemented his legendary musical skills across four decades of popular music.

By night Andy is a legend on the party circuit. By day he is creating anew.
