John Groce (born September 7 1971 in Muncie, Indiana) is the head coach of the Ohio University men's basketball team. Groce was named as head coach June 27, 2008 to replace Tim O'Shea, who resigned to take the head coach position at Bryant University. Before coming to Ohio, Groce was an assistant at Ohio State University (2004–2008), Xavier University (2001–2004), Butler University (2000–2001), North Carolina State University (1996–2000) and Taylor University (1993–1996).

Groce graduated from Taylor in 1994.
