The 1982 Open Championship was the 111th Open Championship held from July 15-18, 1982 at Royal Troon Golf Club in Troon, Scotland. Tom Watson won his fourth Open Championship, second consecutive major title, and seventh major title by one stroke over Peter Oosterhuis and Nick Price.
