AmberFin launched in April 2008 - created as part of the Snell & Wilcox Group - as a dedicated home for its award-winning iCR software.

AmberFin iCR is an end-to-end software platform incorporating Snell & Wilcox Emmy award winning technology that enables the creation of high quality file-based masters, review and quality control, conversion of files to multiple formats and the simultaneous production of multi-platform versions of video content. iCR is modular including review/quality control, virtual VTR, production encoding, mastering and repurposing applications.

AmberFin is privately held by Advent Venture Partners.
