History

IBBS was founded in 2001 by Michael Ingram and Robert Buckfelder. Originally launched out of the home of CTO Michael Ingram, IBBS quickly grew from a 6 person team in 2001 to over two hundred employees today. The company moved its corporate headquarters to Kennesaw, Georgia in 2004. IBBS continues to operate a call center in Cartersville, Georgia. Wachovia Capital Partners formed a strategic relationship with IBBS in February 2007 and is the majority shareholder of the privately held company. Robert Buckfelder stepped down as CEO in February 2008, turning over the position to David Keil. In an industry where low customer satisfaction is a norm, IBBS stands out with a customer recommendation of 99% and a customer satisfaction rating of 98% based on an independent January 2008 survey of over 100 IBBS customers by The McDonnell Group.
