Pilton, Rutland

Pilton, Rutland

Pilton is a small village and civil parish in the county of Rutland in the East Midlands of England.

It is a mile or two south of Rutland Water, and near North Luffenham, Wing and Lyndon. To the east of the village is the site of the former Pilton Brick & Tile Works which was part of the Normanton estate, owned by the Earls of Ancaster.

The small parish church is dedicated to St Nicholas.

According to the 2001 census, Pilton parish had a population of 39.
