Keeramangalam is a panchayat town in Pudukkottai District in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

It is located in Alangudi Taluk.

The original name of the village is said to be Nakeerarmangalam named after the great Tamil poet "Nakeerar".

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, [GR|India] Keeramangalam had a population of 7758. Males constitute 50% of the population and females 50%. Keeramangalam has an average literacy rate of 74%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 82%, and female literacy is 66%.
