Greetham, Rutland

Greetham is a village in the county of Rutland in the East Midlands of England with a population of about 450.

Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust owns Merry's Meadows nature reserve, a SSSI in the parish which is important for species characteristic of unimproved grassland. The village is home to three pubs, the "Plough", the " [http://www.restaurant-guide.com/black-horse-inn-the-1.htm Black Horse Inn] " and the " [http://www.pub-explorer.com/olpg/the-wheatsheaf-inn/greetham/index.htm Wheatsheaf] ", all on the B668. A garden centre lies to the west of the village and to the east is the Greetham Valley golf course.
