Barbara Faith de Covarrubias (birth date|1921|2|19|mf=y-death date|1995|10|10|1921|2|19|mf=y), was a U.S.American writer of more than 40 romance novels as Barbara Faith (her maiden name) from 1978 until the day of his death. She won a Rita Award in 1982.

Biography

Barbara Faith was born on birth date|1921|2|19|mf=y. Married to the love of her life, former bullfighter Alfonso Covarrubias, on date|1970-11-11. They later renewed their vows in Spain on date|1983-05-06. Began work as a public relations person in Miami, Florida and later moved to Chula Vista, California. She later moved to San Miguel de Allende in Mexico. She died on death date|1995|10|10|mf=y, exactly one month before celebrating their 25th anniversary.

She published her first novel in 1978 for Silhouette Books. Most of her books are set in Mexico, Spain, USA or Morroco, and many of the male protagonists of her books are Hispanic. She won a Rita Award in 1982.
