Gordon had several entries on the U.S.
Hot Dance Club Play chart in the nineties, including three that reached #1. She also had a major UK pop hit with thesong "Happenin' All Over Again " written and produced byStock Aitken Waterman which reached #4 in theUK Singles Chart in 1990 and had originally been written forDonna Summer . soundtrack to theVanilla Ice movie, "Cool as Ice ". It reached #79 on theBillboard Hot 100 and #30 on theHot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Her next single in 1993 was followed by aremix ed version of "Happenin' All Over Again," another dance chart #1 that generated limited success on the pop chart, peaking at #98 on theBillboard Hot 100 . The follow up single was "Do You Want It", released in 1994. All of those singles were included on her album, "Bad Mood", which was released on the now defunct SBKrecord label , which was a subsidiary ofCapitol Records . By this time Lonnie had shaved her head and bleached her hair platinum blonde.Gordon has hit the U.S. dance chart two more times in 1996, with the songs "Dirty Love" on
Geffen Records whick peaked at #6, and "If You Really Love Me" released onBig Bang Records , which peaked at #42. Her third album, a combination of new songs and earlier material, entitled "No Regret" was released in 2000 on Centaur Entertainment. The single released from "No Regrets" was "He Lives in You", which became a modest hit.Recent times
