Al Sabhan

The House of Sabhan (آل سبهان - السبهان transliteration:Alsabhan - Āl Sabhān) were a historic dynasty of the Arabian Peninsula, and supporters of the House of Rashid. Ha'il city was their main center. The Al Sabhan were a part of the Jafaar lineage of the Abde section of the Shammar tribe. The leaders of the Shammar normally came from Jafaar lineages such as Al Ali, Al Rashid and Al Sabhan.

The Al Sabhan dynasty descended from Sabhan bin Hamed bin Rashid bin Ghaleb bin Atteya, the son of Omair bin Rashid bin Shahwan bin Khudair bin Dhaiygham who was the Amir of Nejd with his cousin Arar bin Shahwan bin Dhaiygham in 17th century, then, Dhaiygham linked to the second Ja'afr who is a part of first Ja'far dynasty.

Al Sabhan dynasty joined together with the Al Rashid at Atteya bin Omair bin Rashid bin Shahwan, they are a cousins and have a strong relevance between them, however, Al Rashid descended from Rashid bin Khalil bin Jaser bin Atteya who is the brother of Sabhan grandfather " Ghaleb bin Atteya". Sabhan had four sons, Zamil (1st.), Ali, Salama, and Salem, the first members in this family are supported the first amir of Al Rashid (Abdullah) and his brother Obaid, especially the first Zamil Al Sabhan, who went to Iraq with Abdullah Al Rashid - without Obaid Al Rashid who stay at Ha'il - to seek for support from Ottoman empire through the wāli of Iraq, and they got it afterwards.

However, that support was incorporeal and those two braves came to Ha'il after they became famous knight's leads many battles for shammar Iraq and they built their names and large Paladins and fans, some of them came back with them to Ha'il and took the Emara from Al Ali Family their distant cousins.

All Sabhan family members are Emir's have the full authority to lead, take a decision on behalf of premier Emir, cities and villages emir, army leaders throughout the Al Rashid Emara era to take care of the tribe and the capital city " Hail ".
