Arizona in the Pinaleño Mountain Range, part ofCoronado National Forest . The closest city is Safford, about 7 miles away. This large drainagestream has been used as a travel route up themountain for quite some time now, and manyrelics can be seen whilehiking through. It is also a great place to watch a very diversewildlife population through the steep elevation changes. Ash Creek Trail #307 is the low elevationtrailhead which can be accessed from the Cluff Ranch Wildlife Area just south of Pima.
