2008 Wimbledon Championships , beating British junior #949Daniel Cox (a week after Cox knocked off #67Thomaz Bellucci ), #248Rainer Eitzinger , and #270Nicolas Todero . He took this form into the main singles draw, where he faced the 18th seedIvo Karlovic fromCroatia and beat him in four sets 4-6, 7-6(4), 6-3, 7-5. He then beat the Brazilian,Thomaz Bellucci in the second round, this time coming through over five sets 3-6, 6-3, 6-1, 6-7(5), 8-6.References
