Sacred Heart College (founded in 1889) is a Roman Catholic school located in High Street, Kyneton, Victoria in Australia. The College was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1889 and has been educating young people for 118 years. A Catholic co-educational school in the Macedon Ranges Shire, one hour's drive from Melbourne, Sacred Heart has an enrolment of 750 students.

Facilities

Food Technology/Hospitality Centre Library, Resource Centre that provides approximately 33,500 catalogued items, separate library classroom with Smart Board, well resourced teacher reference materials, audio visual resources, computers and laptops for student use. Large theatre with modern sound and lighting and adequate seating for student productions Expressive Arts Department including two computer laboratories, darkroom, 4 large classrooms, ceramics room with kiln, and modern studio for exhibiting student work Sports indoor activity centre, five outdoor basketball courts, two netball courts and two ovals. Music classroom with stage/performance area and separate instrumental tuition rooms Three Science Laboratories Automotive Workshop and Wood Technology Workshop Media Department with Apple Macintosh computers and relevant editing software programs.

Curriculum

The College offers a comprehensive program for student learning, Years 7-12. As students enter at Year 7, we seek to build upon students’ primary school learning experiences to create links in their studies, forming a smooth transition from our various feeder primary schools in the Macedon Ranges.

For senior students, the college offers VCE, VCAL and VET.
