"The Sedalia Democrat" is a newspaper serving Sedalia, Missouri. It is published daily, and is owned by Freedom Communications.

"The Democrat" was founded in 1868, and became part of the Freedom chain in 1995. Freedom reports that the "Democrat's" circulation is 13,200 for weekday editions, and 14,800 for the Sunday edition.
