Terry Norris (actor)

Terry Norris (9 June 1930 Melbourne, Victoria is an Australian actor and former politician.

Terry Norris has appeared in many roles on television, film and theatre but is probably best known for his role as Senior sergeant Eric O'Reilly in the television series "Cop Shop". Terry left the show to pursue a career in state politics by standing for a seat in the Parliament of Victoria. He was elected as the Labor MP for Noble Park in 1982. Terry is married to actress Julia Blake [ [http://www.abc.net.au/rn/arts/atoday/stories/s243770.htm Profile: Terry Norris and Julia Blake ] ] and is the father of actresses Sarah Norris and Jane Norris.

Credits

Terry has also appeared in the television series "Bobby Dazzler" and "The Last of the Australians". His most recent film role was in "Romulus, My Father" in 2007.
