Frisk Tigers since 2005, after the 06/07-season he signed with theRussell Stover Hockey , where he scored 40 goals and had 52 assists for 92 points in 70 games. Scott will play 2008-2009 for theCedar Rapids RoughRiders , before moving on to Colorado College for the 2009-2010 season.Winkler was one of Norway's best players of the
2008 IIHF World U18 Championships , when they got promoted to the Championship tournament. He scored 2 goals and had 5 assists. He also finished with a +6 rating. His former national team coach described him as a winger with excellent shooting skills, a good attitude and moral, and a skater who finishes his checks properly.
