Lowell Center

Notability|date=June 2008The Lowell Center is a hotel and conference center located in Madison, Wisconsin. In the early twentieth century, it served as a private dormatory for Jewish girls attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, at which time it was called Lowell Hall. The Lowell Center was acquired by the university and now functions as the only hotel affiliated with the university. The Lowell Center provides many accommodations for its guests including a swimming pool, exercise facility, multimedia access, and proximity to the busy downtown area of Madison. The Lowell Center is especially known for providing the food service needs for the University of Wisconsin-Madison orientation program, SOAR.
