Thomas Emson

Thomas Emson was born in Bangor, Gwynedd, Wales, in 1966, and raised on Anglesey. He now lives in Whitstable, Kent. He went to college in Bangor to do a degree in Communication but took a creative writing module in his third year which got him started as a writer. His first language is Welsh.

After graduating, he took job as a reporter with the local newspaper group. His first novel was published in 1996 – it was a Welsh-language horror story. Subsequently there have been another three novels and two collections of stories in Welsh before his first English language novel: "Maneater", which was published on 1 April 2008 by Snowbooks.
