The A Level programme at Southshore, commencing in September 2004, offers students the opportunity to select from a wide range of subjects. Further, to ensure that students gain valuable perspective beyond the classroom, the programme of studies includes a variety of learning modules. Students may choose modules related to the arts, the outdoors, internships, foreign language, writing, intellectual exploits and more.

Curriculum

Southshore prepares its students for University of Cambridge International Examinations - GCE Advanced Subsidiary Level and Advanced Level examinationscite web|url=http://www.britishcouncil.org/pakistan-exams-cie-centers-list.pdf|title=British Council Pakistan] . All students are required to take English (General) in addition to a minimum of three major subjects for their A-Level programme. Students choose their major subjects from Accounting, Art, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Economics, English Literature, History, Law, Mathematics, Physics, Psychology, Sociology and Urdu.

Our faculty are carefully chosen from among the best teachers in the country. They must have superior academic credentials, significant teaching experience and a genuine commitment to teaching A-Level students.

Counselling

Southshore has counsellors who interact with students consistently throughout the academic year. The role of a counsellor is to provide a safe environment for communication on issues ranging from academic performance to university and career counselling as well as guidance in other areas . Students are strongly encouraged to pursue internships during the summer between their first and second year at Southshore to gain exposure to their projected careers. They receive guidance on developing resumes as well as making long term educational and career plans.
