The "Talvar" was an Indian Nationalist periodical published from
Berlin .Harvnb|Yadav|2002|p=23] The publication was established in Paris with funds fromMadam Cama and in 1909, its editorial responsibillities were taken over byVirendranath Chattopadhyaya Harvnb|Yadav|1992|p=26] and was aimed at inciting nationalist unrest in India and sought to sway the loyalty of theSepoy of theBritish Indian Army .
