Emil Fey

Emil Fey was an Austrian officer in the Kaiserlich und königlich army, leader of the right-wing paramilitary Heimwehr, and Vice-Chancellor of Austria ( _de. Vizekanzler) during the period of Austrofascism under Chancellor Engelbert Dollfuss. He played a critical role in the violent suppression of the Socialist Party during the Austrian Civil War.

During a parade in May of 1933, Major Emil Fey reportedly "knocked three Nazis unconscious with his own ochsenknüttel (square-edged bludgeon)" and promoted Austrian nationalism.
