- Lifeline Helicopter
Lifeline was Indiana's first critical care transport system in the state, with the air medical transport program began in 1979. Since that time, Lifeline has flown more than 30,000 accident-free patient transports. Lifeline's crews consist of a Pilot, Flight Nurse, and Flight Paramedic or Physician. LifeLine helicopters typically fly within a 150-mile radius of Indianapolis. Airplane transport is available for less critically ill patients who are farther away from Indianapolis. Lifeline's fleet is comprised of four
