Raymond Harold "Ray" Whittorn (
4 October 1911 –10 August 1995 ) was anAustralia n politician. Born inSydney , he attendedSydney Technical College before becoming an electrical engineer. He was the general manager of Olympic Cables and other companies. In 1960, he was elected to theAustralian House of Representatives in a by-election for theMelbourne seat of Balaclava caused by the resignation ofPercy Joske ; Whittorn represented the Liberal Party. He held the seat until his retirement in 1974.
